How has humanity survived for as long as it has?
informative fast-paced

This book made me think about how sometimes the most ridiculous and nasty things we have done to cure things is entirely related to people wanting to make a profit and not in any actual science, flawed or not. I kept thinking about pharmaceutical commercials while reading this book.

Humans seem to have a pattern of seeing that something might be beneficial or good for humans and then taking it way to far.

A lot of conjecture and misinformation along with a heavy dose of snark

This was, well researched and well written. There is no end to the crazy things that people will believe! Some of the things will stick with me, like the origin of blowing smoke up your butt…😩

I liked the little sarcastic pokes throughout and the narrator did a good job at making this points known.
