An intense end to an exceptional arc, probably my favorite arc so far. We get some great character work, especially with Eri. Her quirk is fascinating and I am interested to learn more about it and see how it develops.

The beginning didn’t really hold my attention, but the middle to the end was equal parts drama and goofy fun. I really loved this volume and laughed so much at the end. We got hilarious quotes like Shoto being called “Five Weiners,” and yet there was a serious air throughout to signify more to come.

I am going to post a couple of funny moments in the manga that made me laugh, making this a five stars, and they aren't spoilery.

The parts focusing on those three were my absolute favorite. I would have liked the entire manga dedicated to them.

Also, very fitting that I read this in the beginning of October. I found that a cool coincidence.

Ending the Eri/Overhaul Arc, going into another

We've finally come to the end of the Eri arc and it was a lot to take in. I know with S4 of the anime coming we're going to see this animated soon, so I'm glad that I caught up before then. I knew that Nighteye was going to die, and I've seen most of these panels on Tumblr before but its refreshing to see them in complete context. I can't look at Fatgum and not think that he should have hired on Momo though, because she would have done great in his team with Kiri and Tamaki. My favorite part, despite loving the students and seeing their progress, is always the LoV. Their story goes from 'Pathetic group of nerds' to 'Threatening and A Real Danger' and I love that about them and their weird family dynamic. They aren't a family Family, but they're a really close group of people who seem to know each other better than they want to believe they do.
