This book was fine but unfortunately follows in a long line of unmemorable sequels. At least it’s pretty?

Loved loved loved this duet! Everyone else seems to be doing trilogies and then some, but all of the references to Eastern European folklore, the absolute sass (and ass) on Dante, plus the 0 bullshit tolerance on Kit. So happy I picked up book 1 on a free stuff your kindle day

I liked the first book better.
Didn’t like the endless spicy scenes at the most inappropriate time
like after their parents are killed in battle…
plus I feel like sometimes it got boring.
It was an ok book, but I had higher expectations for it because I really liked the first book :(
