3.95 AVERAGE

I wish I could give 4.5 stars!
I really liked this book and can’t wait to see what the 2nd instalment will bring.

That ending sucked! It's literally the only reason I gave it 4 stars. This is the only book I've ever said this for, but the movie was better than the book. There were some really good parts (except for the ending >:( ). But the feelings and emotions were just so real and even though I've never been in a situation remotely close to that I could understand her.

SECOND UPDATE (30 th may 2015)

“Love is scary: it changes; it can go away. That's the part of the risk. I don't want to be scared anymore.”

description

5 years old. I felt 5 years old, watching Lara Jean out in the world, and Peter slowly realizing he didn't needed Trish's kisses anymore but he rather needed Lara's presence. Not in his arms, with her lips pressed in his.

But at his side. As a friend - and, perhaps, more.

There is something magical about this book I can't quite explain. It has a ghost of fairy dust, you know? Jenny is such a cutie about writing her characters! And she added one of the things I highly praise in contemporaries: details.

Lara is a very selfless, yet fragile girl. I find myself in her in some ways: I'm always too afraid of telling people how I feel, like Lara; I get easily hurt, like Lara; I keep things to myself in papers, like Lara. To be honest, I think everyone could somehow find themselves in her.

Aftermath: DING DING DING - Congratulations, you just got yourself a roller coaster of fluffiness! Care to join?

I loveeeee the TATBILB movie, and now I'll appreciate it even more knowing that the writers worked wonders with this *meh* material...

I went into this book thinking that I would get almost like a carbon copy from the movies, and I was wrong. If I would’ve read the books 1st, I never would’ve Laura and Peter together. Peter is just not that great of a person and I understand that he’s a teenager and you know we still need room to grow for the next two books, but if we’re talking about
character development from the beginning of the book to the end of the book there isn’t a lot.

The ending felt very rushed, but it was entertaining throughout.
