This is the last installment to the Highest Bidder series and was a good wrap up. We got to finally read Zander's story along with Arianna.

We've seen both Zander and Arianna a few times in the previous books, but both a mystery. In their book, we get a closer look into Zander's persona and he isn't what he seems. On the outside, he is a scary, dangerous, and mysterious guy and doesn't delve into his desires where at Club X, he likes to keep his reputation in check. However, we discover that he has a savior complex and wants to save Arianna since he put her in the situation where she got sold in the auction. They develop feelings for each other and end with a happy ending.

All in all, this was a fast paced read which I enjoyed - again with this book, I found lacking in the development of the two main character's relationship but then again this is a relatively short and quick read so it's not to be expected.

'Given' is the fourth and final installment of the Highest Bidder series and it di don't disappoint.

The book had a great opening, which grasped my attention immediately. I was hooked from the first few pages of this book, wanting answers while still reading the prologue. I just need answers - and this is how I ended up devouring this book in 3 hours.

This book follows the relationship between Zander, Arianna and Danny. Their bittersweet relationship had my on my toes. There are various twists and turns, mystery and suspense and in the end, a beautiful ending among the tears.

Too much attempt at plot, not enough spice. I read these books specifically for the spice. I enjoy the scenes and just how out of the realm of possible it all is. This one had very vanilla scenes in it, which is fine but not what I’ve come to expect with this series. The story between the two MCs was only so-so. I kept wait for it to heat up, but it never really did. Stayed more fluffy compared to its predecessors. I hope the next one goes back to the series’ original draw for me.

I cannot believe that I finished this book in three hours and 30 minutes. 3 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES.

I was so hooked on Zander’s and Arianna’s story that I could not but the book down for my life. Tbh I wasn’t that expecting Zander to be the kind of guy he was in his story but I LOVED IT. I loved how he cared for Arianna and her safety before his own. He was such a sweatheart to her.

Arianna was such an incredible women and I’m glad she got a guy like Zander after her ex. I am so glad she got the love and care she deserved.
