I like the diverse cast in this writers books. I've read two by her now and appreciate it.

This is a fast paced thriller that is the usual "reads like a movie script" fast paced type.

Almost perfect, very enjoyable. The baseball references could’ve been explored more, i. e., how the beginning and end tie together between Bill and his family.

I liked this at first. The scenario is pretty thrilling and a lot of the characters are likeable. But partway through I began to pick up on the format of everything: every chapter ending as a cliffhanger that never really pays off with a different result. Characters are in danger in the book, but in a meta sense, I never felt the author would actually do something drastic, lethal or shocking. 

It also got a bit too MURICA for me, with the message to the president and of course the Yankees are playing sportsball finale at the threatened stadium! Like it gets layered on way too thick near the end and wasn't for me. Still an interesting concept tho!
