Suspenseful and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t believe this was a debut novel!
Wow, I hated this. It was so one dimensional, the writing wasn't very good, it wasn't very suspenseful, and the bad guy's motivations were crap. Like there was no reason for any of this. And my eyes rolled out of my head when I realized the bad guys are yet again non-American men from the Middle East. It felt stereotypical and racist. Then the author tries to fix it at the end but it was didn't fix it at all. Barf. This was a hard no for me and I was so close to just DNFing it. I should have put it down, it was so bad. My first 1 star of the year. Sucks I have to finish off July with this book.
