I am a sucker for a good bdsm book and if you didn't know that now you do.. With that said I loved this trilogy it held ups and downs in all three books this installment held personal and emotional ones. Abby had doubts about being able to be enough for Nathaniel and he in turn didn't want to push her too far and lose her like he did before. If you haven't read the series you need to pick it up

Not as good as the first one but considering I read the entire trilogy over three days, there must have been something good about them ha!

The Training is book three in the Submissive series and this is where we see our lovely pair continue on with their story and work their way towards their happy ever after. This is the book where they are committed to each other but also where they will push each other's boundaries as well. We see how Nathaniel goes deeper into the BDSM training and explores what their relationship can reach and Abby is completely wanting that as well. We really see great character growth and I adored the friendship with Nathaniel's mentor as it really helped Abby see where they could be and the potential that their relationship could have. I also enjoyed seeing them explore their relationship outside of the BDSM aspects and how Nathaniel wanted them to just be friends and lovers in other ways too. This story had so much heart and feeling and it just won its way so easily to my soul. I was swept away by the writing and I couldn't put this down. I am eager to see where this author takes the rest of the series and the other couples that we will see.

✔️ BDSM
✔️ Smutty
✔️ Romance
✔️ Happy Ending
✔️ Perfect Epilogue

I really loved this story. Nathaniel and Abby are just the sweetest. Both with different pasts. It kept me intriguiged I was savouring it since I knew the rest aren't about them. But the characters were very layered, so much personality and that ENDING!!! Eek!

I think my favourite thing about the ending because I don't want to go in spoilers it wasn't in first person but third and for me I thought it had such an interesting spin to have the narrator type ending. I really enjoyed it.

This was definitely better that #2 and it explored a great section of the relationship but I still feel this series could have stopped at one stand alone book.

Now that the trilogy is done, I have to say that this is my favorite book of the three. I enjoyed that it was told from both Abby & Nathaniel's POV, I wish the whole series had been done this way. I enjoyed that the introduction of the BDSM world continued to be added one layer at a time, this is a great way to introduce people to reading this time of erotic sub-genre.

I did still have issues with the summarization and fast pace of the world outside their bedroom. While I don't read erotica for the storyline necessarily, I was just craving a bit more depth to it. I also felt like the ending was a bit rushed, I would have loved to see one more chapter in between the last one and the epilogue.
