I read this in preparation for my school’s Battle of the Books contest. This is one of the titles this year. I had read some Judy Blume growing up but never this one. It was super cute and a quick read.

Can't pull anything over on my kiddo. As soon as we read what the freckle juice recipe was, he said, "That's a scam!"

This is a cute, quick little story. :) I like how it teaches kids in a subtle way that just being yourself is best.

Classic. I was so young and naive when I read it that I believed the teacher's freckle removing solution was really a magic solution.

- Gnome and I both liked this a lot.

- It was a cute and silly story, and I love how innocent and naive Andrew is.

- The illustrations were fun, and they matched the story well.

- This is a great one if you want a quick fun read with your kid.
