Almost put me in a reading slump lol. Liked this book a lot. I mean, reading about three of my favourite characters was the best. I think it’s the characters that make this book better and give the essence to it. The characters are so lovable omg

This was fun! The grishaverse is definitely my comfort universe. The Nina chapters were a bit slow at the start of the book but by the end I loved them as much as the rest.

“The monster is me and I am the monster.”
I will be thinking about that ending for a very long time.

Oh my GOD!!!!!!! Okay the only reason that this book has four stars and not five is because of the split storylines between Nina and Zoya/Nikolai. This should’ve been just Nikolai and Zoya’s story. Nina’s thing could’ve been an entire other book, and it just disrupted the flow of the main plot. As for the zoya and Nikolai plot? OH MY GOOOOODDDD!!!!!! The world building is incredible. Everything tying into everything else. Zoya’s power crawl?? Incredible!!! The tragic love story???? INCREDIBLE!!! I’m so excited to read the sequel and oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh.

This book sets the stage for one last epic story in this universe. Love that we still have Nina as I didnt feel like her story was finished in the six of crows duology.

Excited to reed the conclusion of this universe

funnily enough i read this before reading the original grishaverse trilogy which is HILARIOUS bc i didnt know wtf was going on who is alina starkov????? but this made me love zoya so maybe it wasn't a bad thing. im very glad nina is moving on but im not really over
Spoilermatthias fucking DYING and her carrying his body back to his home to bury him seriiously dude i have an insane emotional trigger for pets being abandoned bc of owner death. thats the only thing i remember vividly from this book goodbye i dont even care about matthias himself that much
