You know exactly what you're getting into with this one from the word go, but who's to say that's a bad thing?

Did I still feel giddy when Taylor got the boy? Sure. Did I still cry my way through the last 50 pages or so? Of course. And did I see it all coming from a mile away? Obviously. But it does the trick if that's what you're looking for!

This is a great book. There wasn’t any plot twists and I could see the ending coming but it was written so well. I love the characters and the plot.

WOW. I cried for a solid 20 minutes whilst finishing this and I cried again the day after when explaining the plot to my mom. SO good, loved that the romance wasn't the focus (though it was cute). The meteor shower scene actually broke me. My only complaint is that it was predictable (as most romance/contemporary books are for me) but 5☆ nonetheless.

Going into this book, I was expecting the main focus to be on young, summer love. I was surprised to see the main focus was on father-daughter relationship. This book was beautiful, emotional, and heart breaking. You know from the beginning that the dad is going to die. However, the dad is such a main character that you can’t help to have some hope for him. When he passes, you’re not surprised, yet so heart broken. I definitely sobbed. This book was beautifully written and if anyone is wanting to read about grief, this would be a great one for you.
