It's funny how this book can bring you down at first but then later on tells you why it's okay to be down most of the times and what's important is that you'll learn how to bring yourself up. Really, in a way, it changes your perspective in life. Instead of pushing away your life, you gradually learn how to embrace it. Most of all, it does tell you how and why you should not give a f*ck on everything. If you want to know, just read this book.

I didn't know I already gave a review on this book which was not really everything what the book says. I honestly didn't even remember the contents of this book which is why I decided to reread it again three years later, and I now finally understand....

Manson's remarks often hit you right in the gut. But they're also honest and true, so we start accepting the reality of it all.

Started off okay, but way before getting halfway through, I started forcing myself to keep on reading. A lot.

Too many life-level affirmations based off of his own experiences on cliffs and what-not, shallow psychology research and a bit of swearing with the same obvious word again and again, to try to resemble originality. The life experiences he shares are eventually more interesting than his attempts to say something significant and new. I felt like highlighting just a few portions of the book.

Took a better turn towards to the end, becoming mildly interesting again. Then, the book was [thankfully] finally over.
