This really didn't explain anything other than her life story so far. Not bad but not getting to the point?

The book started off pretty interesting but then for the next 10 chapters (it seems) the author just goes into her failed relationships and how she’s such a hopeless romantic. I switched over to the audio book which was more bearable as her voice is pretty fun and she’s good at portraying emotion, but the writing of the book reads like a teenager wrote it. I unfortunately didn’t learn much, but at best it might make you feel less alone.

I cried multiple times reading this book because I related so much to Moore's words. This is a must for any single twenty-something that feels completely lost. It was a lifeline for me and loved it!

I think I need to stop reading books like this - I never quite know what I'm supposed to get out of them. Is it just comedy? Should I take these musings/theories seriously? What am I supposed to feel, enlightened? Just entertained? I figure it's somewhere in the middle, which leaves me thinking that it's comedy that takes itself too seriously at times and maybe we all just need therapy instead.

I cried after almost every chapter. Might be one of those “read this if you want to know me better” type of books for me.
