I LOVE the commentary that goes on from Trinity is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE part of the whole series. The charm and the humor were definitely something to fall in love with. I am not sure if I remember but why couldn’t Trinity get a spell from the Crone to help her eyesight. Especially after the spell she did for herself. Anyway trying to not give too many spoilers. 
I love it. The love, the hate, the betrayals, and just overall a good series. Anything Jennifer so far that I have read/listen to has been absolutely amazing.

Honestly, this felt kind of mid. My take on the whole series is that it is a less good version of the dark elements series, the fmc is annoying (also, has literally no personality besides rly liking junk food? Which, Layla sweets cravings knock off, anyone?) and zayne honestly is way more irritating especially because the way he was behaving made it seem like he should be soooo pissed off at Layla but I think that’s a weirdly unreasonable take after reading those books. Also, I felt like this kind of stretched the edges of what I’m willing to be chill with happening in terms of divine (literally) intervention instead of like, meaningful conflict being borne out and solved or something actually going wrong. Also like, surprise, somehow both Layla and Trinity are given something mysterious that makes them immortal so their immortal bf’s don’t have to watch them get old? Good lord. But I still liked it and the first sex scene with the wings rly did it for me

I don't think there was enough story for three books.

The first half was so good and then it wasn’t.
It got boring and slow. I had to actually fight myself to not DNF.
At least the first two were amazing.
