Zayne, eres el alma de esta trilogía.
Me lo has hecho pasar muy mal, pero... también muy bien

3 stars. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. I adored the first two books in this series but this conclusion was extremely lackluster. There’s way too many pop culture references that make the book feel dated, the dialogue was super cringey, the humor didn’t land majority of the time, and there didn’t seem to be any plot except for the first 15-20% and the last 5% of the book. The rest was just the characters waiting around and watching and talking about television shows. I was so damn bored.
There’s no real character growth going on here for Trinity or Zayne but again, that’s because this book has them not really doing anything after the first 20% or so after Zayne is saved from his fallen angel/killer thing he had going on. That was honestly the most interesting thing about this book and it’s over way too quickly. This book just felt so rushed and while the ending was fine, that entire middle chunk was so dry. It wasn’t the conclusion I had been looking forward to but it does leave it open enough that I can see Armentrout doing another spin off series with different characters in this world so I’m excited about the possibility of that.
Overall, I’m super salty about this but whatever. I’d still recommend this series but read The Dark Elements first as it's the superior series and things in this one would make more sense if you do.

Spoiler
Also, there was a pregnancy scare for them that felt so unnecessary and didn’t really add anything to the overall plot so there’s that.Overall, I’m super salty about this but whatever. This book made me regret reading the first two in the series.
