Wanted to read this since I used to like the 90s anime & never read the manga before.

Fun read, definitely has weird moments (The page layouts are a bit mess and everywhere, Usagi's outfit changing pen, Full-grown men calling the Middle-Schoolers hot!?!?). My only complaint is the story is a mess (and the adult men who keep calling teenagers)  but this did come out in the 90s.

I would never rate Sailor Moon anything under 5/5 stars. It truly changed me as a person, I just love this series. What can I say? It's a masterpiece.

For anyone who wasn't already a fan of the show (original or remake):

The artwork is beautiful, the story takes pace pretty fast and you get a great guide - a super cute talking cat. The main character is pretty clumsy and honestly relatable (to me at least).

You get cute girls, lovely friendships, comedy, romance and some action.

The first volume keeps it simple but effective - it sucks you into this story and the world. It's magical, it's beautiful, it's funny and girly. If that's what you're looking for, this is the series for you.

magic girls, you have my heart. obviously i expected to go into this one liking it, i love sailor moon, i love magic girl anime/manga and let me just say!! it delivered. i love the art style, and the female leads/ friendships (so to sailor mars you are my fave queen) i also love tuxedo mask he’s so πŸ˜‹πŸ™. usagi is also a very relatable sleep girl. only reason it hets a half star off is for a cliffhanger ending. evil.
