This is giving Criminal Minds but Titus the sheriff is NOT playing with the people! He’s got a job to do and he’s going to do it and not let racism, obstruction of justice, or dirty cops get in his way!

I did figure out who done it but I think the intention was not to hide that from the reader but take them on a journey to catching them? More of an examination of motivations that bring ppl to commit depraved crimes.

I ejnoyed this book and was entertained. I think it could have been MORE. Some sections were to descriptive and not needed. They skimmed around the motive as to why the killer was killing, but skipped the reason for 2 of the other killers. I don't want to give spoilers - also the end eluded to more bodies/victims, but then didn't clear it up. I left with questions.

This book was amazing.  My first book by S.A.Cosby, Definitely not my last.  His writing is so raw and gritty and dark and beautiful all at the same time. 
Titus Crown is the first black sheriffs his small town.  He is dealing with his own personal guilt and grief as well as trying to do his job keeping his community safe, and find a serial killer that's been hiding in plain sight. This book is loaded  with so many twist and turns. Just a overall great book.
