What a smashing debut Maren!

This romcom hit everything for me, It has enemies to lovers, pregnancy and fake engagement.
It had a lot of lol moments but had emotions too, I couldn’t help but cry at the end. One thing I enjoyed was how it had real relationship problems. Sophia carries a lot of angry towards Hayes. And to see everything play out and find out what the issues were and to work on them to make them a better couple was done perfect to me.

I can’t wait for more from Maren.

OH MY GOSH. Hayes & Sophia are everything I needed in life! This is a childhood enemies one night stand that changed their lives forever. When Sophia discovers that she is no tied to Hayes for the foreseeable future because she’s no carrying his baby… what does she do?! The banter, heat, sexual tension & spice is EVERYTHING. I never truly laughed so hard at a book because the characters back & forth had me rolling. With Hayes being this super cocky playboy hockey player & Sophia just coming out of a bad engagement, they need each other more then they’d like to admit. I loved getting to watch their relationship grow & change even when they didn’t realize it themselves. It truly was such a fun read that I highly recommend! The writing was so well done (of course) & the spicy scenes were done so well. You felt the connection between the characters but it was not over the top or excessive. It truly was the perfect amount of spice for this couple & I am all here for it. Hayes & Sophia made their way into my heart & I promise they will make their way into yours too!

I really loved this book. It was so cute, funny, and made me want to finish reading it in a day. The only thing that I didn't like was at the end when her reason for disliking him was finally revealed. It seemed like the author forgot they used to be enemies and added it quickly back in. Regardless of that, I would still very much recommend this book.

This was a cute romance but I felt like the whole book was rushed. The romance/attraction between the 2 mains was way too rushed. The overall premise was cute but I feel like more could have been done. The idea that he was hockey player was basically for nothing it was hardly mentioned. The obstacle between the couple that I was waiting for happened at the last 10% of the book and I feel like it was thrown in there just cuz.

i really enjoyed this book at first, it was cute, the characters were enjoyable and it was quick! however sophia’s reason for hating hayes since highschool was brushed off too easy and i knew things were going to go bad. everything was going way too well and when the conflict came, i felt it was way too late in the book. since sophia’s hate was never dealt with she didn’t trust him when it came to it and i felt like at that point in their relationship she should’ve.

I enjoyed reading this book, it was great to follow the relationship between Hayes and Sophia and how it has evolved. One minute they hated each other the next minute they just fall inlove with each other.

Sophia St. James, 30, is a sassy girl, love her personality. I really liked reading her pov. She and Hayes share a dislike since their school days. They get irritated around each other and they can't really ignore each other cause their bestfriends are married to each others) loved their banter and how they started exploring love with each other
