A very cathartic novel. I teared up more than a couple times while reading this. I feel for the main character, of course, but I have to admit that her self-destructive behavior pissed me off a bit a few times in the book. But I absolutely 100% recommend this book.

this book was so amazing even though it was so sad. the author did so good with this book.

i want to hug eden so bad, and like when her brother was screaming in his room after he found out what his best friend did to her, i felt so bad.
eden never deserved what happened to her. she was vulnerable and she knew she couldn't speak out because no one would believe her and that genuinely speaks volumes about the real world too. she tried to cope in the best way she thought it would help, it was unhealthy but understandable. i love josh, we don't hear like loads about him but i think he played his role to help eden.

overall, i rate this book a 4.25, so well-written ⭐
