This book is something you want to read when you want to feel broken. It was written beautifully and in my opinion shows accurately what can happen to the main character and her response. The main character was lovingly complicated, and I am satisfied with the ending, but I wish it went on for a little bit longer.

“I don’t know who I am right now. But I know who I’m not. And I like that.”

A gut-wrenching story told over the course of three years following Eden. The intense character arc you follow Eden, and in turn other characters, on is capturing. This book was written very well, but be sure to read content warnings before picking this one up.

Loved the development of Eden and her whole process of dealing with her trauma. Especially her love interest relations as well as famial relations and friendships. I cried when she told her first love, Josh. I felt like it was very fitting for him to be the first to know especially since he was the first to ACTUALLY listen to her.
