One of the most powerful books I've read. With the way the book was written, the frustration, desperation and rage of the character comes flying at you through the pages. It shows you first hand the experience of a rape victim, who was once a girl so bright and blooming with kindness.

Eden was far from a perfect main character, but it wasn't her fault, with every page I turned, the more I feel for her, the more I hoped for her recovery. Things gets worse before it gets better, but in the ends it does get better.

The book itself was already powerful and gut wrenching, but reading it as a woman, as a girl, as someone's daughter, it resonated with me in the deepest ways.

This was an incredibly heartbreaking and important story. It shows how Eden deals with trauma throughout the years until finally,
she tells the truth. She speaks up not only for herself, but for the other girls.
I absolutely loved this book and I can’t wait or read the sequel
