I don't have too much to say about this. I really like the reason why Ollie ends up coming out publicly and I love the setup for Jet in a later book.  I really appreciate that Alexander Cendese isn't doing a Boston accent for his character. I imagine that's a direction that he's given but hes not very good at it and it makes it hard to distinguish  characters from other books he also narrates so I'm glad it's not here. 

I like that while a secret relationship is the center of this story, the ending isn't a coming out or being outed. I like those as much as the next sports romance fanatic but its almost too common.

Rep: gay MC with Swedish roots, gay MC with glasses, multiple gay side characters

I genuinely am not sure why I read this book but it was funny and fast-paced and I needed that. The writing can use some work but hey, jock/nerd romance!

Of course, my aroace ass couldn't not be annoyed at the "I'm happy, but I'm not complete" line because, fucking come on!! Stop with the whole idea you're not complete without a romantic significant other. Ugh. I felt this amatonormativity only one or two times so I tried not to let it affect my rating but you know. It's annoying as hell.
