Can't decide between 3 or 4 stars. This book was definitely shocking to say the least.
As a mom of toddlers this was very hard to read at times.
Overall great read!

This was definitely an amazing book. I was able to read it in one day. But there was just too many predictable scenes

Meh, this was just an okay read. This was the first Collen Hoover book I've ever read. I actually listened to this audiobook, and it was hard to pay attention because the story itself was just kind of boring for lack of a better word. The narration was good, but the story itself just didn't keep me hooked like I expected based on all the hype around this book. It felt that this book was 95% sexual scenes that really felt poorly executed. It just all felt kind of sloppy and doesn't really connect any pieces for the plot to move forward. It seemed like complete nonsense that nobody could tell Verity was faking her injury, too. Overall, the plot, the spice, the twists and turns of this story all just felt kind of rushed/out of place which made it hard to connect to this story.
In the end, this just wasn't a great read to me.
