Turns out, Yae doesn't hate her body in the way trans people do, but in the way heteronormative/homophobic people have manipulated insecure queers.
The first time Yae confesses her crush to her best friend, she responds with, "I really like you, Yae, but we're both girls, so...". And that results in Yae hating having been born as a girl.
It's not hate against your body in itself, it's just thinking that loving the same gender is wrong or not possible. You know, like the popular quote in BL series: "It would've been so much easier, if one of us was a girl, right?" (Pretty sure it's also said in GL series, but I only have heard it in BLs so far.)

But! Together with Chitose, she overcomes that emotional "trauma" and learns that being a girl isn't too bad. Slowly, but gradually and with a lot of communication, she lets herself getting touched by Chitose more, too.
Even her friend, who randomly meets Yae on the street and finds out she has a girlfriend, learns that lesbians are totally valid and girls can date girls too. That was cool.

The other lesbian relationship feels a little unfinished, but they too had a nice development. Well, they've already been pretty mature (more or less) in the previous volume, so there wasn't much to develop anyway, but small details. Like kissing in public, for example.
I did like that BDSM chapter, though. You don't see that often in GL, if at all.

I also really like the way Yae and Chitose are drawn. I mean, on one hand, they look pretty young (though I've actually met 15 year olds that look like primary graders, so there's that), but on the other hand the roundness gives them more body fat and it looks so wonderfully mature. Not your typical teen skinniness. Beautiful round bodies.
