"You don't owe anyone consistentcy."
Cute and well written. But, occasionally felt like I was being given google definitions of various romantic and sexual identitys.

The cover is so eye catching and writing draws you just in. I enjoy good book about a journey of self-discovery with romance. One my favorite scenes was Ophelia’s conversation with her father was great. Overall great debut novel and I'm always here for more queer YA contemporary.

4.5 stars really good story of figuring out who you are and how it doesnt always feel good when something big changes your life but learning to accept it is better than ignoring it. i went into reading it thinking it was just a cute sapphic book but it was honestly so much more the girl doesnt get the girl in the end and thats just how life works sometimes the message of learning that there are other people who will still love you after a rejection is something that is done so wonderfully in this book

This was a really good read. Sweet, queer, even wholesome. I love that it encompasses so many queer identities (queer, bi, pan, ace, etc.) especially for younger people who are still trying to figure themselves out.
I would have appreciated a little more story development between Ophelia & Talia, but their story was still believable and fit the high school senior mold.
I would likely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys YA or queer fiction.
(ALC received from NetGalley in exchange for honest review. Thank you!)

„Doubt thou the stars are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love.”
Ophelia after all is about a teenage girl close to graduation, who has to navigate herself through friendships, crushes and identity crises, while coming to the realization that she’s allowed to change.
You get a beautiful insight into the inner life of Ophelia, her feelings and emotions, and what’s it like to be a teenage girl. All while not making it immature, but rather making you remember how it was to be seventeen.
The book shows beautiful representation and explanations about sexuality and over all identity, without making it feel forced or out of character.
Over all, it’s a beautiful book for everyone who loves and waits.

I loved it! It was such a unique, sweet, coming-of-age story. I laughed and I cried and it was overall a very comforting book that I wish I read before. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling to figure out who they are.
