What a read!!
Action packed from the first page! I couldn't read it fast enough!! It's a good versus evil with some really interesting insight to mankind.

I listened to this one mostly on a road trip. It definitely served the purpose of keeping me awake! It started out as a regular detective/thriller story - but then God's warrior entered the scene. So religion and opinion on religion was suddently a part of the story. Different, but I liked it.
I really don't understand the high ratings or reviews for this at all. Characters were introduced just to disappear pages later and never be heard of again. There was no breaks between scenes so one minute your with one character and the next sentence someone entirely different in a different location is there and I had to keep flipping back and forth to see if I'd missed something, but no, it's very badly written and edited if edited at all
Absolutely loved this book. Such a page turner, interesting, believable characters. Full of depth. Would say if you like Dan Brown you would love this book. Will certainly be reading more from this author.

I was expecting a spy book. Although I was mistaken, this is still a pretty good book. It's got action, but it has heart, too.

I got to 57% of this book before I stopped, and as that was almost a month ago, I think I'm just going to come to terms that I'm not going to finish it. There's a worldwide conspiracy, and a small girl, and a woman who is protecting her. It's kind of interesting, adventure and supernatural. Suddenly, it becomes Dan Brown-esque, which is good for some, but personally, I'm not into religious supernatural intrigue. If you are, this is a good book and I recommend it. It's just not my thing.
Although a little confusing at times which required some backtracking, great thriller overall.

Billed as a Dan Brown-esque mystery with a supernatural flair, this book is a complete mess. Characters come and go without any reason for the reader to care. Seemingly interesting set pieces are mysteriously introduced (in a certainly Brown-esque style), only to never be mentioned again. The relationships are improbable, the action is stilted, the villains are either bland cutouts or mustache-twirling buffoons, and huge sections of "side-material" read like blog posts on topics that interested the author (e.g., computer viruses, the crew size and configuration of a Boeing 757, etc.).
Really, it worked like this:
10% in: "Wow, this DOES feel like Dan Brown."
30% in: Very mysterious!
50% in: Still pretty mysterious...
70% in: There's no way that any payoff can match this build up.
80% in: ...Really?
90% in: I want to give up, but I'm so close.
Completed: I'm glad I only paid $0.99 for this.

I really enjoyed this storyline. The author did a good job of keeping you interested in the various mysteries of the characters and had good timing on reveals/resolutions. It got me hooked in and I didn't want to put it down.
