genuinely upset i didn’t love this. i usually love talia hibbert’s writing. i have read get a life chloe brown in 2022 and highly suspicious and unfairly cute in 2023 and absolutely loved them both. maybe novella’s just aren’t for her because i, personally, found the characters super dumb and annoying and superficial and omfg did i hate them. extreme ? maybe but i wanted to throw myself away all the time. i saw what hibbert was trying to do, but failed to imo. this felt very incomplete, we don’t know what happened with the people threatening her. it wasn’t even funny which is absolutely WILD to me. her other books were so fuckimg funny. anyway i’m sorry i couldn’t stand this. if i fall into a slump, it’s cuz of this book. it was so bad, i’d give it a zero. but i cant so i give it a one.

Talia doesn't disappoint!  This short story was handled well considering the seriousness of the situation presented. Throwing the romance in there was really just the cherry on top. 😜
