Solid story! This book is reminiscent of Big little lies minus the murder part.

Wry, sardonic, and hopeful all at once. Pageturner, too!

Love a good domestic drama. Like watching a car crash. I'm not sure exactly why this wasn't a 5-star read for me, but it just was lacking that extra oomph.

I found this book more interesting than most people would because of my career, but it will give anyone a taste of how parents (and then their children) often view gifted education. This is a novel, not a nonfiction book, so it has a lot of intrigue and story to it which would be entertaining for any reader.

A lot to complain about, but was a quick fun read that flew by.

My favorite genre is WASPs. Sub genre: WASPs & elite schools.

This one checked so many boxes for me. A bunch of characters with different stories and lives but they all come together in some way. I find it so funny when parents care so much about what school their 12 year olds are going to so I found a lot of the plot enjoyable and funny, but it kind of all become a little deeper at the end.

Some Big Little Lies vibes for sure, but maybe a little less intense?

Highly recommend this one for readers who like a big cast of characters in a more character driven novel!
