Short and sweet

This is a fun little book about a "straight" best friend who is intrigued by his gay roommate's lingerie kink - cute and sexy!

Kink: Lace and lingerie

A short novella that’s pretty forgettable as soon as you put it down. Friends to lovers with pining and technically some emotional moments. The writing was fine.

Also, someone’s first time at anal and being called a sex god… lmao. Sure, Jan.

Overall Rating: 5/5.

Synopsis: A man sees his best friend in panties and realizes that he has been in love with him for a long time.

Overall Thoughts:
Sweet story of a protective guy (Lawson) who realizes he's in love with his best friend (Greg) - exactly the way he is. Greg, who loves the feel of lingerie and how it makes him feel, has been berated for his choice and feels insecure, but finds a supportive ear in Lawson. This story was so adorable! And while I did have some moments of frustration with Lawson not being straight-forward about his feelings/confusion, I was okay with it because a lot of the story was Lawson trying to navigate feelings he was having for the first time as a self-identified "straight" man, and not too soon afterward, he did try to show his feelings/take action in his own way.

Read If:
-- You want a story about a devoted best friend who clearly shows up for the man he loves.
-- You want to swoon.
-- You need to believe that love can be found after heartbreak.

Tropes: Friends to Lovers

Writing: 5/5. Well done, emotional descriptions that resonate.
Editing/Formatting: 5/5. No glaring issues that pulled me out of the story, easy to read visually.

Audible version: No.

So sweet, even though I wanted to smack Law upside the head at times! He's normally heterosexual, but has fallen in love with his best friend who has a jerk of a bf. It's lovely and adorable, even if the dialogue is a little hammy at times. Sexy fetish too, especially as it is a catalyst for Law realising his love for Greg :)

very cute

Adorable. I'm not a huge fan of gay-for-you stories but this one is so light and sweet I was won over.
