What a brilliant ending to a beloved series. Honestly one of the best children's series I have read in recent years! If you haven’t read this series yet, go to your closest bookstore, coerce a bookseller into showing you where this series is and buy all three (especially once this one has been released) for your child, your family members, your friends and of course yourself!

The last book in this series. A delightful middle grade series that was very fun to read.

Temní Sereni pátrajú po najmocnejšom kufri sveta. Ten má schopnosť zničiť celé multiverzum. Flick a jej kamaráti to však nechcú dopustiť.
L. D. Lapinski knihou Tajomstvá Búrkového lesa uzatvára sériu o mladých členoch Tajnosvetského spolku. Séria si aj naďalej zachováva magickú atmosféru, pričom cítime snahu uzavrieť všetky dejové linky. To sa v konečnom dôsledku aj podarilo a mladí čitatelia dostanú odpovede na všetky otázky, ktoré sa vynorili v predošlých knihách.
Oproti predošlým dvom dielom sa táto kniha venuje skôr vzťahom v rodinách a hľadaniu stratených nádejí. Kniha je zameraná na odhaľovanie pravdy a zmierovanie sa s rodinnými osudmi. Flick aj Jonathan stretávajú svojich stratených príbuzných a snažia sa nové situácie napasovať do svojich životov. Posolstvá v knihe sú pozitívne, aj keď nie všetko končí šťastne.
Hoci sa ocitneme vo svete so žijúcimi rastlinami, nie je až taký atmosférický ako napríklad pirátsky vodný svet z predošlej knihy. Prostredie je pochmúrnejšie ako v minulých dieloch a takisto aj nepriateľ v podobe skorumpovaných Serenov pôsobí hrozivejšie. Flick v druhej časti objavila talent na premenu schiziem, ktorý využije aj v záverečnom boji. Kým sa však k nemu dopracuje, potrebuje v sebe nájsť silu a odvahu, aby ju nepohltila temnota.
Tajomstvá Búrkového lesa šikovne zakončujú celú sériu Cestovná agentúra Tajné svety. Dobrodružstvo je dokonané, hoci v angličtine vyšli ešte dve poviedky, jedna vianočná (A Very Strangeworlds Christmas) a jedna poviedka zo Strofadie, oblačného sveta (Adventure in the Floating Mountains). Tá vyšla ako kniha zadarmo v rámci Svetového dňa kníh 2023.
Slovenským čitateľom táto séria prináša LGBT+ postavy v detskej fantasy. Naplno sa totiž ukáže láska medzi Flick a Avery. Jonathan je navyše trans chlapec, ktorému sa páčia chlapci. Nič z toho však nie je ústredným motívom a v celej sérii sa nájde len pár miest, kde je o tom vyslovene zmienka. Dej je v každej časti zameraný hlavne na priateľstvo, dobrodružstvo a hľadanie toho najnebezpečnejšieho kufra v multiverze.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the other's sadly not sure why, but the story did not grab me as much.
It was still filled with interesting worlds and ideas, though!
Also, a great ending that can still lead to something else if the author likes.

➽ The Secrets of the Stormforest is the finale of the Strangeworlds books! It digs deeper into the lore behind the suitcases and the multiverse, especially as a big threat to the entire universe surfaces. The Seren - a cult-like group that steals magic - is determined to wipe out the multiverse in their hunger for power and unlimited magic. Jonathan, Flick and Avery are the only thing that stands between them and their devious plans, so they have to mobilize everyone they've got to fight on behalf of the multiverse. I liked how the story dug deeper into Flick's special power with schisms and how it impacts her personally. We also see her reconnecting with her grandfather, a former Seren who is determined to fight alongside them, as he knows first-hand what they are like. I really liked how everything was tied up in the end, structurally this is definitely the strongest book of the series, as it brings everything together!
