Tense thriller that grips you by the balls and doesn’t let go. Compelling characters that you root for let down by a poorly plotted ending.  Writing is effective and clean for the most part but interjected with poor pop culture references or unnatural crass language that discordant with the rest of the writing

Violent, gory and disturbing in the best possible way. Felker-Martin does not shy away from the darkness in all of us. All of the characters eventually have to face the lies they tell themselves. There is a note of hope but it's slender and fragile. Not a book for the faint-hearted or weak-stomached.

This book isn't a trans themed apocalypse, it's a compendium of gross sex scenes with some badly written apocalypse sub plots. I got 50 pages in and had to give up at the 10th sex scene. This book was not advertised in the porn section, I picked it up cause it was a queer horror, but it's honestly very fedishey. They constantly harp about never being seen as a woman in the sex scenes and they are full of shame and self worth issues. There are multiple on page rape scenes with and without monsters and every time they go to camp for the night they immediately start fucking. This book was a stomachache and gave me the feeling like I had gotten food poisoning and was about to vomit. And as a final note the writing is tacky, I could have forgiven it if it leaned into the jokes, but it took itself so seriously when the side villan was terfs...
Do not read this book, it's gross fetishist rape scenes.

Every scene played out like a movie in my head, this was the most horrifyingly delicious story ever. I’ve been searching to find a book that had me like this did!

This very dark and very graphic. Often unnecessarilly explicitly sexual seemingly at random. 

The writing is amazing and it is very well written but the content was too dark for me.
