Every scene played out like a movie in my head, this was the most horrifyingly delicious story ever. I’ve been searching to find a book that had me like this did!

This book is erotic and gory in equal measure, definitely not for the squeamish, but absolutely worth the read for anyone on the fence. 
The relationships and community of these characters made me cry and so did the reality of their post-apocalyptic gender essentialist world. Only docking a quarter star because the gore got to me a bit.

A really challenging and graphic book, but it had me completely hooked and emotionally invested. 
The characters were all so messy in a way that made them feel so flawed and human. 
I liked that it started a couple of years into the event, it made things really interesting!
