This book was really really beautiful. The concept was kind of mystifying at first but it really keeps you in suspense and wraps up pretty nicely at the end.

Very slow start, story doesn't pick up until after 30% in. Beautifully written, but also distractingly flowery. Intriguing concept, very reflective, but the plot was thin and stretched out, so I found it a bit boring. The main character was annoying to me, and the others didn't stand out.

I've really enjoyed all of the Harrow I've read so far and can't believe I waited so long to get round to this one which I think is my favourite of the bunch.

It's whimsical but dark, tackles important topics without feeling preachy, and made me cry happy tears.

I have so many quotations highlighted in this book, it's just so beautifully written.

I have never annotated and underlined so many things in a fiction book. This book is written so beautifully, some sentences make your heart ache. We should all try to be like January
