So much potential, terrible portrayal of characters. Grandmothers should not be allowed to write as current age teenagers. STOP USING EMOJIS AND HASHTAGS IN BOOKS.

It just wasn’t for me. It’s extremely slice of life. I think I wasn’t that invested in Tiger and her grief for her mother, because we don’t really see the two bonding or how her mother was a good one. Maybe if you’re younger the story might appeal to you. For me I found it a bit repetitive and self-indulgent.

Kathleen Glasgow does it again with this book. She really has a way of getting you inside the characters head and feel what they are feeling. This story of love and loss really makes you think about what you have in your own life and what others may have lost and vice versa. A grief so tangible it hurts to read but at the same time you don’t want to stop reading it.
