You've probably seen the movie but if you haven't read the book, you know nothing... The plot thickens, the bonds tie further, the situation escalates. I've read this one multiple times and it never bores me

This book was awesome! Compelling and fast-paced. Damn, I felt a mixture of emotions while reading. Katniss was badass as usual. Peeta and his love for her, damn. Every victor was interesting in their ways. The tragedy, revolution, and love did it for me. I kind of regret not reading this series earlier, but I thought, I read it at the perfect time, in my early 30s. I appreciate this series a lot. I rarely read super serious books, but this one will be a reread material. Oh btw, there were a lot of horror and problematic themes also, like slavery, assault, murder, etc.

This is a great addition to the Hunger Games trilogy.

1. Post-victory life. It was really interesting to see what life is like for victors. If this whole book was about Katniss and Peta becoming mentors I think I would have enjoyed it just as much.

2. Dynamic world building. The way Collins describes the new arena is so compelling. The reader gets to solve the puzzle along with the characters; it is extremely rewarding (especially towards the end).

There were some negatives points in this book, most glaring being the fake pregnancy. I suppose it makes sense for the characters, it's just not something I enjoyed.

Overall, another great book!

one of my favourite series, everyone should read this.
The second hunger games for the victors
was such an amazing and unexpected twist. Also, Peeta and Katniss are *chefs kiss*. Gale should die or something
