Wow. I haven't read a book like this before and was very unsure about how I would like it. I must say that the characters jump into your heart and have you loving them easily. As a chef I felt that Jackie was very familiar and could see myself in her. The demon princess was not what I was expecting. It really enjoyable getting to see her eyes fill with wonder as she learned more about the human world. Her Human Studies professor did not cover ComicCons, different chocolates, and the hope that humans carry. While the two of them meeting was an accident, their acting on love each other was a choice well made.

I received a copy for a honest review.

Unique and fun, great world building. However, it read like the major conflict (her having to go home) could be solved easier and quicker.
