Tristan and Claire quickly became one of my favorite couples! This book relieved on spicy but really had so much comedy it kept me giggling and literally laughing out loud through the whole book! I love that Claire is your every day woman, not a supermodel but a mom of 3 boys and that Tristan learned to love her and her boys the way they were!

It’s 3:00 in the morning and I’m just finishing this book, but I need to pull together the right words to articulate all of the feelings that this book tore out of me. Claire’s story is so tragically painful. It’s raw and real. From the rip my heart broke for her and her boys. I cried for them so much throughout this book.

Tristan stood out to me in The Stopover as my favorite amongst the brothers. I was excited to see this one was for him. I really appreciated the realness Swan portrayed for his character (the behind closed door insecurities). I don’t want to give too much away and ruin it with any spoilers, but by the time you get to the real meat and potatoes of this - I don’t know how you couldn’t swoon over this man and his character. The ending surprised me a bit. I really enjoyed it.

The spice was just as good, if not better than the first book. I also really like that these could be read as standalone so they don’t have to be read as a series to enjoy them. I will be looking forward to the remaining ones in the series though.

Excellent book

This book is great. The characters feel real and it’s up and downs feel real also. I’m loving this series so far.

I am so conflicted about this book...there was so much that I loved about it and so much I actually hated.

Love:
The banter between the H and h. It is the best. The spicy scenes were really good.
The story line that includes the single mom, with kids...the kids added so much to the book. They weren't just on the outside of the story, but truly included in.

Hate:
The back and forth...I want to be with you, I don't, I do, I don't, oh wait I do...a little conflict is good but it went back and forth so many times. The H and h must have split 4 times in this book. It was just too much.
funny relaxing fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character

Omg I absolutely LOVED this audio soooo much!!!!

How is BookTok not all over this series?! Even during a second read through I was nearly ROTFL from the interactions and banter.

Mmm okay.

I liked it. However, it is soooo long.

1. It needed to be edited down

2. It’s fine if you are not American and don’t know American slang/vernacular. Just set

Tristan Miles, The Takeover King!

Really liked the kids

I liked the interactions between Clair's kids and triston. Could have had a bit more going on or been more connected to the first book
