Tristan >>>>>> Jameson
Tristan is dreamy. I loved the story line of this one. The family dynamics. Seeing the love evolve and the boys come around. I'm still swooning. Grief and guilt are huge in this one and it makes it feel real. But also that love can overcome it.

This was okay but thought the relationship moved very fast. Spice was good.

Ooof this book was just as good as the Takeover. Swan definitely doesn’t disappoint in #2 of this series!
Tristan is such a great MC. He’s all rough and hard in the outside, but has such a soft and gooey center. I loved watching how he changed and grew through this book.
And Claire…what to say about her? She is a hot mess, but the best kind. Raising 3 boys in her own, and trying to keep her husband’s business off the ground? Anyone would be a bit ragged. But with Tristan, she feels like a million bucks.
They’re relationship is tumultuous in the best way. All the ups and downs with the boys, with Tristan’s pride and attitude, and with Claire’s grief just makes the ending so much sweeter.
Definitely a great read!!

DNF !!! (5%)
I seriously could not get into the book. I really liked Tristan from the book 01 but this widowed with 3 sons & elder fmc trope is not really working for me. Not my taste at all.

Almost a DNF for me. I just didn't love the characters and too much cheesy drama. Meh.
