This would've absolutely been 5 ⭐️ if it weren't for that damn ending. WHAT WAS THAT?! You can't end a book like that and make me imagine what's going to happen, I need more!

This was unexpectedly amazing. This book deals with what long term growth looks and acts like. It shows some of the reality of dating as a single mother. It makes more realistic decisions with our MMC getting spooked on more than one occasion to a situation as complicated as the Anderson's. It's complex, heartbreaking, and very funny when it wants to be.

There is a loose end that isn't tied up at the end which I really needed to be tied. I'm not sure if it gets tied on later books but I doubt it will because Jameson's storyline was barely mentioned in this one. Because of that detrimental loose end, it lost half a star. But otherwise, no notes. ♥️

Maybe I liked it a tad less then the first book. Claire is a basket case and her insecurities were a lot. But overall I liked the general style and flow of the book. It was quite emotional at times.

Holy cow y'all this book is so amazing! I was expecting Tristan to be a much bigger alpha, but he was just the perfect mix of being in charge, caring, and just all around good guy. Claire took me a little bit to warm up to, but that's not a bad thing, I felt she was stuck in her own path and I never got a sense of why until the very end (Though I warmed up to her only after a few chapters) And those boys! My new favorite saying at work is going to be "Tick Tock Boss" and he's not going to know what it means! The relationships Tristan forms with each boy is heartwarming, the way he treats Claire is awe-inspiring. I just loved that this book had me up late reading and get me out of my own head with life stresses!
So good!

I received an ARC in return for my honest review.

4.5

It took me a week to get to 20% and have no desire to keep reading. The characters are idiots. There is no character development. No relationship building. No conversations between the two that make sense. The sex scenes was odd. I just really didn’t like this book. Weird because I really liked the Stopover (book #1 in this series).

3.5 stars. Very cute, but a little long filled with some extra fluff.
