Typical King B.S. Story going one direction, usually a good direction, but then takes a turn to try and be more capital-S "Scary" and "Supernatural" but most of all it's just capital-D "Dumb".

Interesting work of Stephen King's almost seems related to the ideas of some of his other works like IT and the Hearts of Atlantis. Not my favorite King work but it had me hooked so can't really say it was bad either. Solid book and enjoyable characters.

Reminds me of a first idea of The True Knot from Dr Sleep. Could easily be worked into a sub story with a little tweaking

Severely disturbing but wild to read this from the 80s after just having read The Outsider for the first time. Feels like a precursor to that.

This is a very dark and disturbing book. Most definitely some pretty intense reading material. Overall a good creepy book. Would recommend for sure.

I didn't listen to this story but it's not listed here separately in its print format. I wasn't interested in reading the other novellas in FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT collection.
