I dozed off at times while listening to this, so maybe that ruined the experience a bit, but I felt over this by the end. Not quite as over-written as The Sun Dog, or as Secret Window, Secret Garden, but nowhere near as good as The Langoliers.

This one is the scariest of the four, but obviously I couldn’t get into it much so the fear factor didn’t impact me much.

I do like how the lore ties into It, if you want to interpret it that way, and I do. Makes it creepier.

For some reason, I had the impression this was a weird detective story, so the plot went in a very different direction than I anticipated. That maybe led to some mild disappointment.

Spoilers: I’m not sure how I feel about the SA element. I’d honestly feel less annoyed with it if it weren’t queer because it feeds the grooming delusion, even if it’s true there are tons of men molesting boys out there.

Freaky, demon librarians. Don't think I'll ever see libraries in the same light. Great story.

Another multi-dimensional horror story from King. Very scary if you have or have ever had any fear of libraries.

Of the four novellas in this book, I enjoyed this one the most. If you don't return your library books on time, you will be hunted down by a vampire-type being.
