I adored this story. I loved Tag, loved Maddie and I LOVED sweet little Gigi.
My heart broke for Maddie’s story and everything she went through. You can see how it has affected her entire life. Her sole focus is her business and her daughter. Until she meets Tag and her world is turned upside down. Tag is a playboy, he doesn’t do relationships, he doesn’t like kids. But there is also a lot more to him than what you get on the surface.
Maddie and Tag knew of each other because they are both from Calloway Creek and Maddie knew of Tag’s reputation when he turned up as the man she was meeting from a hook up app. There was chemistry between them from the start. I love that Tag was instantly drawn to Maddie and felt protective over her. He also wanted to help her come out of the shell she had been living in since a horrible accident five years prior.
There is a lot to this story and it was emotional, beautiful, sweet, swoony and just heartwarming at times. Tag and Maddie had to work hard and overcome a lot throughout the course of this book but the two of them deserved nothing but happiness.
If you’re looking for a grumpy hero, single mom romance this is one to check out.

This is a beautiful and wholesome book.
The book has a solid story and very good characters.
It follows Tag and Maddie, this a very enemies to lovers almost strangers to friends to lovers, cause they knew each other even before we first meet them both. They match on a blind date app, and based on each other likes they eventually meet up and realize that they knew each other.
Tag comes from a wealthy family, just like Maddie, but Maddie has been through hardships which she really didn't want to go through.
what's worst is that it became her whole personality.
Both characters have a huge attraction for each other but they only make it a casual thing as their chemistry is off the charts.
Their relationship develops, and guess who fell first?
Our baby Tag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He fell for her fast and hard, and made it his life's mission making her family his own. He hated kids and made friends with her's, he didn't believe in relationship and he fell for her, and even better loved her with all his might and made her love herself.
Maddie eventually realizes that she is indeed in love with him, and works with him in order to have a family of some sorts. She has gone through lots of loss, mourning and even fights in order to get to where she is. She learns to love herself, she learns to get herself out there and fall in love.
I loved how good it was written, i love all of the characters involved. I honestly loved this book.

AHHHHH IT WAS SO CUTE!!!! THE ONE AND ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 4 STARS IS BECAUSE WE DIDNT GET TO SEE TAG GIVE GIGI HER RING
I received this book as an ARC to review by the author and I loved it. From the very beginning I was in love with Tag. He’s a grumpy man whore who says what he thinks and I love that. I feel like if I was a guy, I could be Tag. Pretty early on in the book we learn he is more than he seems. He actually has character and depth and isn’t just a grumpy man whore. The way he watched out for Maddie was pretty freaking awesome. He owed her nothing. We watched Tag learn that not only did he like kids but that he loved Gigi and who wouldn’t. He was her “Smokey the Bear.” Tag never saw what everyone else saw happening, that he had found his perfect match. I loved all the crazy analogies in this book. I grew up in a family that used crazy analogies as well as the weirdest saying in the world. I felt like I belonged in this book. I loved that they came from a small town and found each other in a big city through a hookup app. So many things were relatable in this story. Grab this book, you won’t be sorry.
Just wow. Tag and Maddie. The most unlikely couple ever. But they are just so good. Another amazing story. Flawless characters. Heartbreaking angst filled story. And an absolutely perfect ending.

It wasn’t a bad book but I had no problem putting it down for a week to read another book.
YES. This book got me out of a terrible spiral of badly recommended booktok books. I was looking for a grumpy/sunshine billionaire book and I stumbled upon this. Though it's not a true billionaire story, I thought this was so cute and adorably written. It was a little fast the way he fell for her, but I'm not complaining.. too much. I'm also finding out that I'm a sucker for single parent romances.
I sobbed at least twice during this book, and I am unashamed. Surprisingly wonderful find and good read!
