I absolutely love the setting and the idea of the book. It is set in a world where there are two kinds of people: those who can remember two days back and those who can only remember yesterday. and then a murder happens. it makes you think about what such a world would look like and who you could trust. yourself? would you lie to yourself? The story seemed predictable at first, but then the ending surprised me. and despite everything, I kinda like sophia because she didn't let herself be crushed by a world she doesn't fit into. An exciting, fascinating and recommendable book!

but it’s was good the plot twist at the end rly didn’t do anything for me but the story plot line was good either way

I honestly really enjoyed this book until the ending! The world building and setting is super interesting and was done very well. However, Yap spends the whole book showing us how shitty of a husband one of the main characters is, only to have him "redeemed" because he "loves" the woman he was so shitty to. Absolutely nothing about him changed, it was suddenly decided he was ok now? At first I thought it was supposed to be a misdirection because it seemed grossly out of place and cheesy. I do also have an issue with the way mental illness is treated in the book.
