This series is like a manic, absurdist version of The Magic School Bus and I love it. Continues to surprise me how weirdly wholesome and self-aware it is. They really got me with the teases of Koro-Sensei's backstory - I want to know what the hell his deal is!!
Individual chapters can be hit or miss for me, and sometimes I get a bit tired of the very "anime" sense of humor lol. By which I mean, the constant stopping to have characters make faces and point out when something weird happens, which is often. I know it's just kinda a genre staple, but it pops up a LOT in this series.
That said, I'm really entertained and I look forward to reading more of it. I know I would have loved this series in the most obnoxious way if I had read it in high school haha.
