As always Katee doesn't dissappoint, this is some of the best smut I've ever read.

I enjoyed it overall, and definitely want to keep reading the series. I really loved Meg and Heracles' growing relationship and the way they really came to care for each other. However, it might just be me, but I felt that the Hades aspect of the relationship was kinda just added on and he was there to be there. I did not see him and Heracles growing closer, and his relationship with Meg did not really feel fixed. I'm in this weird limbo with this cause I would have liked to see more scenes with connecting with Hades and more chapters in his perspective of him growing to love these two more, however I really like how mysterious he is.

I liked this book, there were a few things that nearly made it a 3 star book for me. I hate when miscommunication or lack of communication is the conflict. Throwing a third into the relationship to fix it just seems so off and could have gone so wrong but of course it got plot armor and it didn’t. Literally it’s all Hades’ fault that Meg is hurting, she shouldn’t have to pester him and dig at him for information if that was forthright before. He got damn lucky Hercules is such a sweet man and dragged him out of his ass enough that he could see his mistakes.

I did like that they all worked it out by mid-book and the sex scenes were *hot*. The ending felt very rushed, we got to the main conflict and I looked and I had 14 minutes left in the audiobook. This book DOES have a plot, it’s just not that complicated and not a main focus of the book. If that’s not your jam, then this book wouldn’t be for you!

Hercules really carried this whole relationship which was funny considering he was supposed to be a pawn in Hades’ schemes. If it’d been like the Disney movie where Meg and Hercules rode off into the sunset, I wouldn’t have been mad about it. I love that we got to see a male sub, and find it funny that Hades and Meg kept referring to him as innocent when clearly he was pretty beyond that.

Overall, fun read. Plenty of emotional turmoil and coming together, great throuple. Though Hades could have been left out of the HEA for all his dumbassery.

I love Katee being like “actually having a threesome will fix your marriage if you do it right”
