Every time I think the author couldn’t possibly add more to this story, she does! The Truly Devious case is a truly magnificent and intricate tale with mysteries hidden in every corner.

holy shit. this book is absolute crack. we’re exploring crazy tunnels. there are fires. explosions. deaths. conspiracy theories. there are not many books that make me this feral and i am SO EXCITED to read the next book! i kept thinking about this during my day and neeeeding to know what happens next. FANTASTIC GIVE ME 14 OF ‘EM

this was a definite improvement from the first book but now that she’s solved the 1936 case im not sure if the current case has the strength to pull the 3rd book even further up
