Jodorowsky's work is brilliant and bizarre. I can recognize the brilliance, but sometimes it's just too bizarre for my taste.

I enjoyed this one! The story was fun and zany but a little unsatisfying— felt like there was a lot of lore/worldbuilding we didn’t get and the “emotional” bits didn’t really hit since the story was so fast and surface level. The art is incredible, though, and I definitely had fun reading it. Will probably revisit at some point!

The craziest thing I've ever read. I loved it!

Clearly foundational sci-fi and a jumping off point for graphic novels...little depth though. The central relationship had my eyes rolling back in my head. The ideas explored were good but the dialogue itself was painful. Maybe the translation?
