Fascinating choose your own adventure style graphic novel. Watch Jason’s YouTube video about how to make your own one piece of paper choose your own adventure comic https://youtu.be/A9Er7kmcPcI

This was pretty cool! A neat idea, and I can see myself as a kid getting lost in this for HOURS - meanwhile IRL I just kept getting lost on all the map pages! Definitely loses something in the digital format, but a really cool idea executed well. :)

This is a really fun graphic novel. It is a choose your own adventure, that is very video game-esque as the main character chats with different people, has to navigate a world map and figure out the quest. I liked that unlike the original choose your own adventure books, when you make a wrong choice you just end up going in circles rather than dying and having to start the story over, although sometimes it was frustrating to end up in the same spot as before (and I didn't remember which path I had previously took, so I really would do a circle several times). Highly recommend for elementary and up!

A fun and humorous choose your own path adventure in graphic format. Older elementary and middle school readers will fall in love with the endless possibilities of Jason Shiga's Leviathan. And I do mean endless. On first read, I wound up in an infinite cycle of swimming aimlessly. It took me lots of page flipping to figure out I was stuck swimming and washing ashore forever!
