It was ok. I guess I expected more. It definitely has it's funny moments, but sometimes I feel like she is crass just to be crass, and I hate her use of the r word.

This book did not age well from its writing in 2010.

It only took an eternity of stopping and starting, but alas I finished Sarah Silverman's biographical memoir. I really enjoyed it with its rich flavours of laughter, humiliation, and -- where the former two meet -- her formative years. I really enjoyed the frankness with which she wrote, but I would expect nothing less from this comedienne. For anyone who is a fan of Sarah and her work already, this book is a must-read, a peek behind the curtain that is a rather perverted albeit progressive mind. However, if you're not a fan of her, then there isn't much here that will change your mind.

This is one of those books that if you enjoy Sarah Silverman's humor, you'll thoroughly enjoy this 2009 memoir by her. If you're not a fan or don't enjoy profanity, you'll probably want to skip this one. She sprinkles in some of her personal life and career with many jokes added in. It was interesting and funny in parts but I wouldn't consider this one a thought provoking or revolutionary memoir. It was a quick read.

I have loved Sarah Silverman since she sung If you are a diva, you best be singing a song and I'm f@*king Matt Damon.
This book is touching and funny and gives you an insight into her life. Defo worth a read!

I didn't know a ton about Sarah Silverman before starting this book, but now I might know too much about her? Yes. I continue to love comedy biographies even if it's just for the sole purpose of reading the SNL chapters. They never disappoint. There's a lot to be admired about Sarah Silverman - what she had to battle as a child, her comedy direction, and fashion choices. I don't agree with all of it, but I do respect it because at the end of the day, she's just doing her.
