I really thought we were going to get back to the overriding mystery of the camp at the end of the last volume, but alas we are not. However, I did really enjoy the variety of shenanigans in this volume and I actually found myself laughing through some parts of it. The art actually fit the vibe for once, so even though I am still annoyed at how often the art changes in this series, I enjoyed it. Also Diane is a treat of a character so any time we get more of her I am happy.

This books so much fun! The Zodiacs are a great group that really complement the Roanokes. Between the alien hunt and the goddess fight, there was action galore. And the "camp couple" take a big step.

This was a fun one! On the way to stargaze, the Lumberjanes meet a Norse goddess, look for aliens and try to find a missing magical cat. Romance is in the air as Molly and Mal officially use the girlfriend word and Hes and Diane have a romantic moment. Plus gods fighting.

Who doesn't love Marigold and other giant, magical cats??
I laughed several times throughout this work. Diane and her interactions between the other ladies is especially funny. I also appreciated Diane's boundaries at the very end of the book.
Another gem from Lumberjanes, my favorite comic :)
Random note: Norse mythology seems to be finding me lately. Our current family read, "How To Train Your Dragon", is set in Viking times and there are random other ways I've encountered Frost Giants and the Norse gods.
